Moonflower
I'm a little sad and depress today but after hours and hours of meditation, I finally calmed myself and I let go of all the bad vibes. I won't be able to write properly if I continued to be depressed. And I can't really afford to enter some kind of "writing stupor" right now. Especially since I'm writing something majorly epic. I won't go into details on why I'm sad or depress because this post is not about that. This is about the manuscript I'm currently writing.
I'm planning to submit this manuscript in the Gothic imprint of PHR. I'm just worried that it might instead be approved in Black Ink because of its anime-ish vibe. Don't get me wrong, I will be more than happy as long as it's approved. I mean Black Ink's book covers are always amazing, but I just really want to have my own Gothic imprint.
The title of the story, as you can see in the post, is Moonflower. It will revolve around twins (yes, I know, I'm a sucker for twins), Rie and Eri. It's super different from all the stories I've written so far. Probably because it has a lot of supernatural beings in it. It has a lot of action, and blood, and magic, and oh, did I mention blood? Hahaha! I know what you're thinking, but no, my hero is not a vampire.
I already wrote chapter one over a month ago, but I didn't have the time to continue it because I still have two manuscripts to finish. So finally last week, I was able to resume writing it. And I was on a roll! I've written seven chapters in the last week which was already very productive for me. Since during my normal mode, I could only write three to four chapters a week. I was really thankful that the ideas just kept on coming and coming. I really needed that since it will be a two-book worth manuscript. I hope I can finish this by next week. *fingers-crossed*
