Isn't it funny that the law requires people to insure their cars but not the owners of the cars? I know that for some people, their car is more precious than their wife, but is their car more precious than their life? I highly doubt that. Unless you're a hermit and do not have anybody precious to you, then you should get yourself some life insurance. If you're single, of course the beneficiary will most certainly be your parents or siblings. Later on, once you get married, you can add your spouse and kids as beneficiaries.
