Demon of the Week 028

Beleth (also spelled BiletBilethByleth and Bilith) is a mighty king of Hell. He has eighty-five legions of demons under his command, and he rides in on a pale horse with music blasting ahead of him. Ham, Noah's son, was said to be the first to invoke him (after the flood, and he wrote a book on Mathematics based on the invocation).

Beleth appears fearsome at first, to frighten his conjurer, to see if he's courageous. Besides bravery, the conjurer must also make use of a hazel wand while he draws a triangle, striking toward the South, East, and finally upward, thus commanding Beleth into existence.
