Some of you may have noticed that my third published book, The Doctor and the Heretic and Other Stories (2011), hasn't been available on Kindle for a few months. You may also have ruefully noted that the cost for purchasing the paperback version recently surged to astronomical heights. Both of these things have happened because the Black Oak-- the company which initially brought out this intense three-story anthology of lust, murder, and angst-- went out of business earlier this year.

Some of you have no doubt been driven to despair by this turn of events, and have indeed felt compelled to wonder how the Almighty could tolerate such an obvious injustice in the world He created if He were, indeed, good, as the theologians all tell us He is.

Well...never fear, my dears! In fact, say it loud and proud:  ALLAHU AKBAR!!!   For the second edition of The Doctor and the Heretic (cover art above), just as powerful and elegant and sexy and shocking as the first edition (because, well... the text is exactly identical to that of the first edition), will be available for purchase within a week!!!
