My 10 year old son and I are writing a book together this summer. It's called "The Dragon in My Backyard." Ethan is in charge of story ideas and illustrations. I'm just doing the typing. So far we're up to 10,000 words of our 18,000 word goal. We wrote 3 chapters today, and the story is getting exciting! I can't wait to work some more tomorrow.

I will be working on my 3rd book in the Delmar Shark Chronicles series this week while my boys are at morning camps. I hope to have it ready to go by the time my cover is revealed on July 15.

And just as a side note, my good friend is currently working on what is looking like a really exciting novella (or hopefully novel if I can push her hard enough) about a woman who travels back in time. I won't spoil it by saying more, but what I've read so far is great!
