SASSE: Tell me how you came up with the plot for your story in the Scandalous Hero boxed set.
Aliyah: LOL, I'm sorry, plot? Not in my vocabulary. J I went by what the characters told me as I always do. Seems to have worked out well. SASSE: Is your story connected to a series you write?
Aliyah: Yes, my story, Raw Exposure, is connected to my Megalodon Team series. Now, Reeve isn’t a SEAL and neither is the heroine, Affrica, but both of their brothers are part of the MT. So we get to see the members from the MT make some appearances. SASSE: What was the most challegning scene to write?
Aliyah: The scene that takes place in the Australian Outback. I don’t want to go into it and give anything away but I think it was the most challenging for me. SASSE: Did you have celebrity inspiration for your hero(s) and heroine?
Aliyah: No, I never do. SASSE: Why did you choose to join the Scandalous Heroes boxed set with these 8 other authors?
Aliyah: It was an honor and a privilege to be part of something with these ladies who are well known authors. I have great respect for all of them and enjoyed getting to know them a bit more during this entire process. SASSE: What do you want the readers/romance world to take away from the collection once they read it?
Aliyah: I would hope they experienced a range of emotions, as I love to do once I’m done reading. I hope they have had wonderful adventures and for a moment in time, forgot all that was bad in the world and found a place where happiness and love prevail.
