Forest of Illusions is still going strong on Amazon.com after a great debut! Thanks to all the fans who have stuck with Hayden's story so far, and have left such great feedback about the series!

Of course, this already has people asking me when book 4 is coming out...which makes me shudder to think about just now. The good news is I have started writing it already, since I try not to leave things to the last minute and to be fairly timely in my book releases. The bad news is that I'm about 3 weeks from giving birth to my first child, so unless relatives storm my house while I'm on maternity leave and offer to take over all my motherly duties, there will likely be some dead-time where I'm not able to write very much. However, I intend to play it by ear (and I also have very enthusiastic relatives who claim they love nothing more than watching babies and changing their diapers), so there is a chance I'll get some writing done while on leave from work.

My current goal for the next book in The Broken Prism series is sometime circa Christmas or the first of the year, since those are traditionally big book-buying holidays with all the new e-readers coming out and going on sale. But with the new-baby thing, who knows? I'll keep updating as the time passes to confirm or amend that goal depending on how much time I have to write and how fast I'm able to do it.
