It's that time of the year when I spend more time outdoors and less at the computer. Naturally, my writing suffers, but my head is still working on characters and plots, picking up ideas as I watch life going by. I have had a good weekend break away from the countryside by visiting Liverpool. I greatly enjoyed the Maritime Museum amongst others. I enjoyed watching others - something that gives me fresh ideas. There were such a lot of foreign tourists in neatly ordered files listening intently to their tour guides. I much prefer to do my own thing. Back home again I have all the windows open to catch the breeze in what the papers are calling 'a heatwave.' I really ought to get on with Hanal (#3) but am feeling lazy.
