More on the Wonderful Universe of Star Wars

The second set of Star Wars movies gave a  delightful  image of just how the Jedi Knights were "Guardians of the Old Republic".  The Jedi Knights allowed:
Indentured servants.Slavery.All violations of child labor laws. (Or would you allow your 10-year old to work manual labor without pay or rights, and fly a hasty wired vehicle with two 747 engines strapped to it?)Allow pirates, criminal gangs and other thugs to do as much as they please.Act as judge, jury and executioner without any due process, in other words a law unto themselves.Violate any motor vehicles laws they choose.Slaughter an entire village for the abduction of his mother and get away with it - Anakin Skywalker. And these are suppose to be the good guys. When you think about it, their not too much different from the bag guys (Sith).  Don't you think that advance societies would have their own police and military forces to handle this? Yet, none of this seems to bother anyone who watches any these stupid movies. And who the hell pays the Jedi Knights salaries? Like I said, Harry Potter is much more believable by a 1000 times.
