I'm proud to say I have Desolation Row on my shelf. After reading about it, it will soon become a priority read because I need to read things set in that time period for my own historical fiction set in that time period. Thanks again! And thank you for a delightful blog post. I live in my head, too.

The market will grow. It's a demographic issue. As the Oldest Generation aged, there were more and more books about them too. I am still seeing comments bashing boomers who can't give up on recalling "that awful decade." I know it was fraught, but gosh, it wasn't as bad as some others....the Depression, WWII. I disagree! Anyway, don't send any wasps my way if you don't like my book, ok? Thank you for your interest AND your comment!
