The New Business Formula for America

If America is to continue to be the number one super power of the world, and lead in industrialization, then the old business thinking of profit at the expense of the companies employees must die.

Looking at every employee as just a number, or someone filling a job description does nothing for the worker, and definiately serves no purpose to advance the organizations long-term growth.

These companies who pay their employees fair wages, invest in them in the form of job training, self enhancement courses and utilize management as a support network and liason between the organization and employees have a win, win position.

When you take the time, and care to care about people, they inturn care about you. The properly trained employee is equipped to do the best job they possibly can without the stress of being unprepared and unqualified. With the support network (management) in place problems can be rectified quickly, so that the companies production isn't compromised. All of these factors bring about an inccrease in worker production, which amounts to an increase in profits. Let's face it Happy workers do a Great Job!

I've been employed at several manufacturing companies (over the counter drug, vitamin, neutraceutical) as a Quality Assurance Inspector, and my last employee as a Production Supervisor (Natures Bounty Inc. 'NBTY'.) Working hands on daily with employees allowed me to see the pluses and minuses on the ground floor, and how the worker(s) were affected, and therefore production compromised. Employee relations is everything to a great business, and nothing to a business who doesn't understand the integral part employees play in growing a brand. This crack in the foundation of a business has collapsed many, and in the long-run almost always affects the quality, and production of services and products.

We're in the age of information, and opportunity. Because, of the internet the average person can become well informed, and they need not be slaves to institutions, unlike the past where workers stayed at companies every day hating their jobs. A lot of companies today are nothing but revolving doors, where as quickly as they hire an employee another is walking out the door.
