Heather Ames I love a good book. Nothing like it. Curling up on the couch or lying in bed, stretching out on a lawn chair or cross-legged on a blanket in the park, I've used those places and so much more for recreational reading.

As a writer, I wanted to give my readers an emotional ride. Thrills and chills, yes, but character arcs and complex relationships to make readers root for a good ending for those who inhabit the pages.

"Indelible" gave me the chance to give an unconventional and complex man a chance he never thought he could have, and a woman of today a relationship that doesn't depend on her looks, her wealth or her business abilities. In fact, for the first time in her life, she doubts her ability to reach that happy ending, even as she struggles toward it.

I also gave them a plot that requires they achieve all of this while trying to stay alive.
