That is so sweet of you to let me know your reaction to the book!! As a first time author, this type of feedback means the world to me! The whole time I was writing the book, I was in a vacuum and felt that the book wouldn't actually work. It's especially nice hearing from a guy (most of my readers so far seem to be women).
