Ok lovelies – time for an update on The Boy in the Band.
I’m SO sorry – I hoped to have it released before the end of August, but it’s going to take a little bit longer than I anticipated. I hate to let everybody down – I’ve had so many messages about it, asking when it’s coming out & telling me that you can’t wait for it – but the wait is going to be a little bit longer. But not TOO much longer!
I promise I’m trying my hardest to get it to you a soon as possible. I won’t bore you with all my personal shit, but that said I’m a bit of a tortured writer. It’s not an easy process for me & this book has become a bit of an emotional battleground for me. I wish I was one of those writers who can rattle tons of amazing stuff out really quickly without over thinking it – but that’s not me & it’s not how my writing works – at the moment.
I’ve put so much sweat & tears & angst into this book – I want to do right by all you readers who have read and loved Death of a Rock Star so much – I want to feel happy with it (as happy as I can be) & I want to feel like there’s a chance it’ll live up to your expectations.
So I really apologise for making you wait a little longer than you expected, but I hope you’ll stick with me & I hope it’ll be worth the wait. ☺
