What it's Like to Sell a Book...

15 Days until the world-wide release of my book, "Behind the Gates of Gomorrah, a Year with the Criminally Insane," from Simon and Schuster. My story of taking care of the murderers, mass murderers, psychopaths and mentally ill patients at a Forensic Mental Hospital, Napa State Hospital, in California, one of the most dangerous, violent places in the country. It will expose the dark secret at Napa. Over 3,000 assaults a year, mainly on patients, and nothing is said or done about it. Until now. I invite you to check out my webpage: Stephenseager.com. Pre-order at Barnesand noble.com 30% off pre-order sale!

Labor Day Weekend: Everyone out of town but made lots of good contacts on Facebook, Goodreads etc. Have a growing presence on social media including big push to come on Twitter. Did a long interview (40 minutes) with a reporter from "The Daily Beast" a big online news service on Friday. She liked the book a lot and it should be a really interesting article. It will appear on Sept 16th
Next few days hoping to hearing from movie agents at CAA, Fresh Air with Terry Gross from NPR and a lot more. Should be fun. See you then, my pretties

Lynette Chambers This is not typically my genre but due to a close personal situation I find your content intriguing. I look forward to reading your book.

Stephen Seager Lynette,
Please let me know what you think about the book. I'd like to hear your story sometime...

Lynette Chambers Thanks Stephen - I will let you know when I've read it. Perhaps one day I can share a little of my story with you - and maybe even others. Right now it is almost too difficult to get my heart around.

Stephen Seager Thank you. I understand, of course, but I'll always be interested...
