Mo' Writing! Mo' Writing! Mo' Writing!
Ok no, the title really had nothing to do with what I wanted to write about in this blog post, but it made me giggle... and probably dated me slightly for those of you that know where that's from.
So, it's September. The summer has calmed to a dull roar as it's on its way out, and I am starting to get my mind wrapped around writing once again. This summer was especially crazy with life stuff. So, I'm exceptionally itching to write some more now that things are calming down... time to clean off the desk and get the laptop back into place!
For those of you that won the giveaway, I should be receiving those copies soon and will sign and send them your way asap! I hope you enjoy reading When in Maui as much as I enjoyed writing it!
My next novel is still being first edited by me... summer slow-down. However, I'm back to working on it and will be submitting the first three chapters to a different publisher soon; one that asked (excitedly) to see it. Which, I am just as excited to see if they will take on the book and run with it like I see it going. I KNOW you all will love it!
NaNoWriMo is coming up. A month and a half away, and I'm starting to toss around which project I want to focus on for the month. Start a new project? Finish When in Maui 2? Finally take "The Long Summer" into a full length novel like it's fans have requested? Finish one of the projects I have sitting in line? Decisions, decisions! Ok... someone come over and scan through my folder of writing things and help me decide! Hahaha!
Anyways... time to keep working. Don't forget, if you have a blog and a decent number of followers and would like to review When in Maui (thus receiving a free e-copy), let me know! I'm compiling a list to have my publisher send out copies!
Happy Reading!
