I'll be honest, I never thought I'd live to see the day my name was listed as an honest to goodness author. In a world of self-publishing and fanfics and 'anyone can be a writer!' mentality, I know the title Author doesn't mean much to folks these days. For me though, in my own little world, it means everything. It's my dreams blossoming into reality. It's my hopes coming into fruition. It's the biggest steps I've taken thus far in what I hope will be a long journey into a world of true sado-masochism: writing.
