Do you get called by strange pronunciation of your name..

Well, I have been called

Kiraaaaaaaaan

Kireeen

Koran

Kireeen Panty

Goran (yes, dont ask me why)

Giren (again, I dont know)

Ok, lets get it straight. My name, before marriage was Kiran Pant(pronounced as panth), but I decided to change it after my initial 10 days in melbourne!

The reason: I happened to order somethinh online, and when I got addressed by the delivery boy as Kiren Panttt, I went furious.

I have changed my name in passport but coudnt go through the same hassle in office. So, I am still Panttt there!

I am not offended by the Pant thing now seriously but Kiraaaaaan(as my phillipino collegue addresses me) really irritates me.

Next time I hear it, blood will ooze out of my ears
