Wow..and WOW!!!!!
Jack Vance, owner of Blowfish, is a professional manipulator in the cutthroat world of marketing. He’s a greedy, self-centered businessman who exudes confidence and gets the job done – at any cost. When he can’t charm or intimidate his way to his goal, he’ll bulldoze his way to and through it, flattening anyone who happens to get in his way. I found myself despising this character, all the while sitting on the edge of my seat and cheering him on. As much as I hated him, I simply couldn’t get enough. What an intriguing, scary, creative and psycho individual!
This is not my ‘usual’ genre, and Jack is certainly not a usual ‘hero,’ but I thoroughly enjoyed this book. When a writer can make you both love and loathe the main character, as Steve Lundin has done with Vance, you know he’s a writer with a unique talent. Bravo, Mr. Lundin! Excellent story and excellent writing. I will definitely watch for your next novel!
