The Schism
So as a Halloween treat, for those of you who read this blog but haven't become a fan of the official facebook page--by the way, if you want more frequent updates and the ability to ask questions and the like, I recommend checking out facebook--the title of book IV in The Broken Prism series is The Schism. A lot of you probably guessed by the ending of Forest of Illusions that the Schisms might be making an appearance in book 4, and you would be correct!
I'm a tad over halfway done with The Schism right now, and still trying to meet my self-proclaimed deadline of Christmas for the release. Honestly, I've been wanting to write book 4 since I conceptualized the five-part series, because a lot of the overall story arc (surprise--there actually is an overriding story arc for the series!) becomes apparent in this book. It's always nice to finally get to write something I've had stuck in my head for two years, now that I'm finally getting close to the final book in the series. It's always a bittersweet thing for me to finally get to the end of something, because A) I've been working on it for years and it's hard to imagine being done with it, and B) It means I have to think of a new book/series plot, which is always daunting.
I'll try to update my blog more as November progresses and we move closer to the release. In the meantime, check out the facebook page and help spread the word about any books you liked so I can afford to keep it up!
