13th February 2009

Well Friday the thirteenth is almost already over and some will be just too glad. With me though it’s been a week of hassle. It started on Saturday when I installed the second disk of the Spellforce Universe game but when I tried the code that came with it no joy. So Monday came and I tried to get help from JoWood the producers of the game. Unfortunately they don’t seem to care about their customers at all and have still not gotten back to me with a proper code. I planned to take the game back to the retailers as is my right as I have only had the game for about three months. The retailer though won’t give me a refund. So I got onto Trading Standards to get the brush off from them as well, even though I am in the right. So I’m stuck with a faulty product that was released with the problem and have no way to get it solved. What have I learned? Not to buy JoWood games from now on and if anyone ever asks what I think of the company, tell them the truth JoWood sucks. It also says a lot for Trading Standards in Kilmarnock as they offer no protection to the consumer in their area. Life for those of us that are struggling on the lower rungs of society are still treated with contempt by those higher up the ladder. Will it ever change not without a revolution in the vein of those that have gone before, by that I mean the French Revolution or 1917 in Russia. Maybe that is what the rich should keep in mind.
