May 3rd 2013

So as a writer I have been trying to push my own boundaries with my work this year, trying different styles, techniques, layouts, and genres. My anthology Broken Shards of a Masterpiece broke the ground for me and opened me up a little to want to expand even further, (still not willing to write in first person) but I decided to write a fantasy/horror/erotica… now I know what you all are thinking… WTF? yes you read correctly. It has been something that has played on my mind often enough (writing an erotica that is, something with a real plot and storyline), I just never assumed I would actually write it. While needless to say the idea struck me hard and I couldnt shake it, so instead I just went with it and wrote it.

In just under a month I finished it, sent it off to three beta readers and got their reviews and thoughts and was happy to see they loved it. A few small tweeks and off to my editor, (where it currently is) I am hoping to release it the second week of May if all goes as planned.

The book is called, Luxuria and here is the synopsis on the back of the book.

A fable, dripping with gold and uttered from the lips of a dying man sets four friends off on the adventure of a lifetime.

The last remnant of an age lost to myth calls from the very cusp of Hell as the dangers rise with the heat of the tropics and they are plunged into the unfathomable depths of the Amazon where they will struggle for survival in an ancient city born of blood, lust and betrayal.

With the whispers of a dead man echoing promises of power, wealth and desire, their path to paradise is laid out in the bones of those who learned too late what is waiting beyond the mist of time.

I also decided since I plan of writing a few more erotica novels/novellas that I would start a second facebook author page just for my erotica writing. You can find it here- https://www.facebook.com/AuthorJamesFullerErotica
