JUST DISCOVERED SOME DUFF BOOKS
Something very weird happened the other day when I was posting two photographs of the Buttercup shop in Warrinder Park Road - past and present.
I wanted to use the same recent photo that I had used in the Buttercup book, so I took a copy from one pack of books to take a look. I couldn't find it! Then after a few minutes I realised there were some pages missing. Shock horror - how many were like that? I looked at the next book in the pack and that was the same ... and the next and the one after that - all the same.
Since it wasn't my practice to check through the pages of book orders I started to panic about just how many books I had sent out like this. I also rang the printers who explained that this sometimes happened, but there shoudln't be too many. Well, one is more than enough and I knew that I had sent out quite a few from this pack. Anyway, I have contacted every customer back to early September and it looks like not many have received duff books. All were very understanding and I have replaced the books.
However, the really weird thing is how I came to check a book in the first place, pick one that is flawed and look at the particular section that had missing pages. The odds must be thousands to one - but I am relieved it happened, since otherwise, a number of people would have received these books at Christmas.

The Buttercup is currently on special offer, at £4.95 (inc UK P &P)
