As we were driving along Trevanion Road in Taneytown today, I spotted a bald eagle flying in front of us. The blazing white head made it impossible to misidentify. Then, another thrill, nearby, in a tree, perched an additional bird probably its mate.
I took this as a good omen for my venture into writing. I recalled the phrase, "Where eagles dare..." I have gone out on the limb; dare I spread my wings and soar
