Paperback Launch Imminent
We're counting down to the November 30th launch of the US paperback version of Major Pettigrew's Last Stand. I'll be reading at the Bethesda Library on November 30th to celebrate. From all the wonderful responses I've been getting to the book, I believe it will be snapped up as a Holiday gift for many types of family and friends. It's tough to find a book everyone can agree on - and I'm thrilled so many of you believe Major Pettigrew is suitable for people you hold dear.

Purchased two paperbacks and one hard cover.Hope my English friend hasn't read it yet. Is it available in GB and France?

Yes, it's available in the UK as a large Pback but coming out January in a small paperback version. Thanks for buying! Helen Simonson

I read the library's copy of the hardcover and have been waiting for the pb so I can have a copy to keep.
Loved the book. Like a breath of fresh air after the depressing reading group books I've been reading.
I am so enjoying this book.....it is taking me forever to read (as I don't find enough time) but the characters are so vivid they are with me all the time and I am really going to hate to see it end.....very sweet book!
The characters are wonderful--I have a crush on the Major.
