I planted  two seeds this spring. 

The first was the publication of Loon: A Marine Story (here shown at a recent event at the Tattered Cover in Denver).  
The second was a tomato plant on my balcony overlooking the roof of the Lemoine Ave. Walgreens in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
The fruits of each are the source of enormous pride.
