This is not cool, pre-ordered this for Christmas for a friend, now she won't be getting her gift in March. The publishers should fulfill there promises and let the readers decide if down the line they want to by the hardcover

I didn't preorder the book, but I imagine that this is a major inconvenience to the people who ordered these books to give as a gift to someone.
I already own the paperback of The prince & the Guard. Okay So the prince will be an extended version now but the guard will be the same so I'll have that double...And also, hardbacks are very expensive. I know they look nice but it'll cost a lot more than a paperback.. And it would be nicer on my bookshelf to have all paperbacks of the series.
I can't wait until the book comes out!!
My friends and I have been going nuts about it....
Wow, I am excited already.. and it's my birthday in October, so it's a perfect timing for the hardback. I know what will be on my wish list!!!
