Happy New Year!

Welcome to 2015!  This is the year hover boards will be all the rage, flying cars will become common place, and our shoes will tie themselves!
Huzzah! I hate tying my shoes. It's so hard. This will also be the year for changes in the world of social media. Big changes are coming to Facebook soon and it's going to be harder for authors to connect with their readers as a result. Simply following an author's page will no longer matter unless said author pays for you to see their post.
Picture Unfortunately most of us don't have that sort of budget. But I refuse to let Facebook keep us apart! Damn, the man! Together we shall spit in the face of corporate greed and... Okay, I might be taking that a step too far but there are ways around this.

If you'd like to keep up to date on the latest news for the R.I.P. series or just happen to enjoy my particular brand of nonsense, listed below are the alternative ways to connect with little old me.  Picture My Amazon author page- Did you know that your favorite authors have Amazon author pages and you can follow all their shenanigans directly from where you purchase their books? Cool, huh?

a new social network. There’s a whole earning potential aspect to this new site that I’m not hip to, but otherwise it seems to be user friendly and similar to Facebook.
Picture Twitter-
I’ll fully admit, I've been terrible about tweeting. If you follow me, I'll resolve to get better.
Picture Goodreads-
Trolls aside, Goodreads is another great place for authors and readers to connect. You can follow my blog directly from there as well.

Pretty pictures in the form of a major time sink? Yep, that’s got me written all over it. I have boards for the R.I.P series and my current W.I.P. Come check out my inspiration for characters, locations, and other little tidbits that end up in my writing.
Picture Facebook-
Nope, not my author page, but my personal profile. So far the greedy cash cow hasn’t decided to charge for my posts there. Friend me up. I like making new buddies. It makes me feel special.
And last but not least- Picture My newsletter
All blog posts, news, and other general ramblings can be delivered directly to your inbox. As an added bonus, every month I choose one lucky email to win a signed paperback from the R.I.P. series!

See? There are other ways you can stalk me or we can keep in touch, whichever term you find less creepy. So don't despair if your favorite authors suddenly fall off your news feed. Be proactive, seek us out. We'll get lonely. We'll miss you. Most importantly, we appear less crazy if there's someone to actually talk to. Happy New Year!
Onward to the future we march!  Picture
