And We’re Off!
Another semester, another flurry of film-related projects! I am so excited to announce that New Form Digital has picked up Virtual Morality for a full season, to be produced with a budget this semester. See the trailer below:
It is no simple task to plot out an interactive film. For every choice you make, there are two more choices and another two after that. There are 8 potential endings to every story you tell. Now, multiply that by three and you have the first season of Virtual Morality, a murder mystery a la Clue but with a satirical social-media twist. Get those #hashtags ready. I’m thrilled to be working with my colleagues Bryce Morgan, Luke Pastor and Matt McClung to develop this topsy-turvy season. And of course, to work once again with New Form Digital, Ron Howard and Brian Grazer’s new online studio.

In other news, “The First Rain” a short Sci-Fi film I wrote has been selected to be produced this semester as a USC 480 senior thesis film. The director Shelby Malone and I are currently undergoing re-writes with the faculty. I am beyond excited to see her and her crew bring the world to life.
And finally, my classes! In one, I am developing my first novel. In another, I am re-writing a 126 pg. cyber-thriller feature screenplay. The list goes on and on. I cannot contain my excitement nor put my most profound gratitude into words for everyone whose helped me along the way. To all of you–you know who you are, thank you. I’ve got one year and a half left at USC to make you proud. Fingers crossed and stay tuned!
