Ashe’ Cultural Arts Center hosts a chat on Afrofuturism with Ytasha L. Womack, Saturday, January 24 at the center’s headquarters. Womack will discuss her latest books Afrofuturism and Rayla 2212. The Ashe’ Cultural Arts Center currently hosts a local art exibit on Afrofuturism titled “What If.” The event will include a presentation by representatives from Wildseed, an organization that uses Afrofuturism to forge community development in New Orleans as well.
