A Writer’s Life

Made this up for my son, the wannabe writer, as a motivational reminder to let him know that he’s not alone in the misery.

C.G. Coppola Too true.

Robin It's funny, as many books Sherri writes a year I can't imagine her going nuts. Mentally, I would love to live in her mind. She is the BEST and most creative writer who drags you in too all her stories and they feel so real.

C.G. Coppola I think going nuts is part of the process. Writers want to control their characters but they'll do what they want. Talk when they want and shut up too. It can get quite frustrating!

Kim Turner This is so true.

Ginger Hamilton I can relate. I write a short column each month for our employee newsletter. Sometimes it starts with a sentence and I fly. But sometimes I draw a blank: or write out an idea, over and over (grrrr) and on review decide it's garbage and toss it. Miraculously every 3 weeks I meet my deadline. I've only missed once in the past 8 years or so. I slipped in some gravel on the canal bank and had replacement knee surgery.
