Afternoon, friends and fans!

Just dropping a quick note to remind everyone that today begins two weeks of events leading up to the release of Sacred: Legacy Series Book 3 on February 17th! Guest hosts will post some articles or��commentary on my blog, including some��short-stories written by me and some friends/fans! I’ve read all the stories so no worries such as “*gasp* is Max okay with this?!” Of course I am! You’ll notice different writing styles, themes, perspective, points of view, and voice. I’m not editing these stories, I want them organically by��their authors. I suppose it’s our own little play on fan-fiction!

Some of you asked how many books I’ve planned for the series. The answer so far is five planned books. That doesn’t mean it will be only five. Book four is fully drafted and book five is in concepts. I’m hoping for a two book release year for the Legacy Series in 2015, but that’s a goal not a promise!

In other projects, this past month, a fan asked me to write a very specific short story because she liked the way I write certain characters. (I realize this is vague, no spoilers!) So, I obliged and after sharing it with several betas who seemed to enjoy it, this short is currently out for edits. It’s a 40 pager that will appear in ebook only most likely in early spring. It’s an experiment of sorts… And… *takes a deep breath* it’s NOT sci-fi/fantasy. *gasp* Realistic fiction. *gasp* I wrote… *gasp* realistic fiction. *faint*
