Sending "thoughts and prayers" doesn't help anyone. A mentally disturbed guy kills children in an elementary school and Republicans sent their thoughts and prayers and oppose legislation preventing seriously mentally ill people who are incapable of handling their own affairs from purchasing a gun. A guy on the suspected terrorist list is allowed to buy guns and he murders young people at a GAY nightclub in Orlando- Republians can't say the word "gay", some make no comment at all, and others sent their "thoughts and prayers" and then refuse to even consider any law regarding suspected terrorists and gun purchases. After EVERY mass shooting gun sales SOAR- makers, sellers & the NRA profit. The NRA then donates even more money to lawmakers (mostly republicans) who not only refuse to consider any gun legislation, they want to roll back gun laws and make it easier to carry a concealed weapon in ANY state.
So, tell the parents of the children at Sandy Hook that they are missing the point.
