Something like a creek, a river, an ocean
Some liquid that moves
Reflects the light

I should look at waves that flatten
And grow thin as they climb the beach
Then trickle back beneath themselves
I should look at waterfalls that seem
To let go, pitching forward
An endless pouring of white
Like a falling star
Or rapids that whirl their way between rocks
Racing, pushing everything before them
I should cast my lure into a lake
