Summer is here!
The kids, most of them anyway, are at summer camp and there shouldn't be any obstacles to my writing. I hope I can finish "Between the Sharp Shadows" by summer's end. Here's to pulling out all of the stops!
I wish there was a way I could get rid of the constant migraine I've been subjected to for the last three and a half years, but when given lemons I guess I'll just have to make lemonade.
My dog has been bringing me gifts in exchange for his one hour of Animal Planet he likes to watch every morning. I just hope he doesn't bring my any more soggy pig skin dog chews, or worse, dead bunnies. He is a strange pet. While some dogs insist on toast or belly rubs, he's content to get his daily fix of what passes for puppy soap opera. He even barks at the exciting parts. He seems to loath elephants, though I haven't a clue why.
If you haven't gotten you copy of "Haley Cork and the Blue Door" you might want to do so before I pull it for revisions. Copies are available on Amazon.com. The 2nd Edition will be cleaner but it won't have the inside illustrations.
Seriously, I probably won't get to it until sometime this winter, so no worries. "Between the Sharp Shadows" is taking all of my energy these days. I mean all of it. Since I can only write two or three hours a day at most, I have to make the most of my time.
