Sleuthfest

I'm back from Sleuthfest. I have to compliment the organizers on putting together a quality conference. This was primarily a writer's conference. I didn't meet anybody who wasn't a writer except an occasional spouse. The sessions were well-organized and informative. Even the keynote speaker's failure to show was handled with aplomb by Jim Hall who ended up giving three keynote addresses. Everyone seemed to be of the opinion that Hall was more entertaining and informative than James Patterson would have been.

My panel went great. I was surprised at how many people showed up. We had only an hour for what was to be a workshop, but Hank Phillippi Ryan did a great job of getting the audience involved.

I hope to go again, if not next year, then soon.
