The next draft is done.
I finished the draft of Seven Dead Fish this evening. Sixty-two thousand two hundred and sixteen words. It's the sequel to Five Fingers
As I approached the ending –the climax–I didn't know how it would end. Sounds crazy, eh? You'd think I'd have this thing outlined, but I don't write like that. It was if I were creeping up to a brick wall that I didn't know whether I could get past. Anywho, the characters pulled it off. I think it works well. Tension to the last paragraph. I packaged the closure in the epilogue. Thumbs up!

I'll do that. Hope things are well. Since December, it's been warm here and now the spring has been warmer yet. I like it but don't think it's a good thing. We'll have to see what the river does this summer.
