The upcoming Miami Jones novel has been slated for launch on April 9. I was hoping for end of March but alas, something things are not in my control. But here’s the rub: This date is important to Miami Jones. Why? The answer is at the bottom of this post!

Three Strikes goes back in time, to 1999. Miami Jones is pitching in the College World Series baseball in Omaha, Nebraska. He’s not the confident, experienced guy we know and love yet, but he’s still cocky as all hell. He is 18 after all.

At a bar on the outskirts of town he meets a girl who is linked to the local Air Force base. Suddenly he finds himself pitching for his career and caught up in international espionage where no one is who they seem.

It’s 2015 opening day for full season leagues in Minor League Baseball, where Miami spent six years. Isn’t that clever? Too clever by half. I don’t know who comes up with this stuff. Oh, that’s right. It’s me.
