I was looking for a video of a milonga I’d seen years ago, of a miraculous interpretation of Pedro Laurenz‘ Milonga De Mis Amores by El Flaco and his very talented partner whose name I don’t know (but she wore long brown pants with fringe that shimmied with every pivot).  Unfortunately I couldn’t find it online but I did come across an equally thrilling version of a couple dancing in Bologna.  The quality is not high but even so I think you can see the energy and playfulness that comes across in this performance by Geraldine and Javier.  While I enjoy tangos and waltzes I can’t resist a milonga.  What do you think?

And if anyone can lay their hands on the El Flaco performance, please let me know!
