Speaking of Dreams

My novel, Speaking of Dreams, has been accepted by Dreamspinner Press and will be published in Oct/Nov of 2015.
I'm particularly pleased over this one, because it's very different from anything else I've written. This one is more of a love story, plain and simple. Granted, it's not your normal love story, but there are no zombie dogs, no witches, and while there is humor, it's not a comedy.
The inspiration came from the song of the same name by Joan Baez. I saw her perform this song years ago, and she introduced it explaining that it was about an affair she'd had with a much younger man. She joked and said she highly recommended the experience.
So that's where it started. Since I write M/M, I changed it to two men. The main character is an artist, and when the book begins, he's just existing. His lover died over four years ago, and he really thinks that, at 45, his chances for a second love are over. What he doesn't expect is to be rejuvenated by a young man who models for one of his paintings, Donny.
I enjoyed writing it. I hope people enjoy reading it.

Deeze I'm not a big May-December fan but I'm willing to give anything a go when I have had a good experience with the Author before lol.

Stephen Osborne I'm not either, to be honest, and, in fact, I nearly didn't go that route, even though that's what the song is about...but then as I was writing it, Stephen Fry and Elliot Spencer got married and it seemed appropriate. Also, the age diff isn't a HUGE deal with these two...it's more like two people who needed each other, and the age was immaterial.
