When I began my adventure into the world of writing a year ago, I have to admit I was really nervous. The stories flowed onto the page easily, but I struggled with structure and pacing. My low skill set in grammar and punctuation didn't help matters either. But I knew I had a story to tell and after jotting down snippets of stories and ideas for the last twenty years, I was determined to finally take the plunge and be heard.
The outcome, I have to say, was better than I originally thought. In six months time I had taken a short story and blossomed that idea into two novella creations and a short story prequel (not bad for a first timer with zero experience).
In creating the third installment, I took a step back. I decided If I wanted my vision to be well rounded and stand out from the crowd I needed to look at the bigger picture... don't rush it.....delay the instant gratification.
I went back to the core of my story and I took to heart the recommendations my dedicated readers who left reviews told me. Then I backtracked and outlined every detail of the world I was creating. Moving forward, The Back Road to Wonderland series will comprise 10 full size novels. The previously published novella's will be professionally edited, expanded and revised to blend with the cannon of my vision of Wonderland. Don't worry, the character development, main plot lines and steamy scenes will all stay intact, but the story expanded and re-organized to flow better and be easier to understand. 
My version of Wonderland and it's history will be immense, but maintaining the integrity of its namesake. Finally I want this series to be literature the LGBT community can be proud of showing both the good and bad that I've seen in my community. I can't promise a happy ending for all characters involved, but as the story comes to a close I hope I've made you proud.
