I remember the timewar series in my early twenties. I could never find more than one or two in the book stores! I am so happy to find them here on Amazon. My first exposure to your work was the wizard series. I still have some of them, and am slowly purchasing the ones that went missing. Awesome work, and I truly enjoy them. Thank you.
They are very entertaining books, I loved them when they first came out. I had read most of the novels you used as the framework for the stories, and loved the little changes in the story from the originals. I am so happy to see them available to read again. I am a very fast reader, just finished the first 4 Timewars books again. Thank you for getting them out there again.
I loved the time wars series as a teen. I stumbled upon them again on Amazon.com and happily discovered thatI had only read the first 5 or 6. I've been re-reading them on my Kindle (please continue to re-publish them) and bought a complete set of trade paperbacks via Amazon marketplace. I look forward to the new book.
I never read the Wizard series and I plan to give it a try, at some point. But I wonder, now: do I start with The Wizard of 4th St (book 1) or the later-published Wizard of Camelot (book 0?)?
Seeing as i'm a little late to this thread. First, I loved the time wars series having first found them during junior high. I was curious to see if you have thought of having them made into audio books? When I am not sitting with my face stuck in a book actually reading, I like to be able to listen to said books while driving or just doing everyday things, i'm a firefighter and it's nice to be able to listen while i'm doing things around the station helps the day go by. It's good to see you are getting them out again and really look forward to seeing the next in line for the psychodrome series.
Well here's hoping it may come to pass, cause holding my breath that long would hurt. So new stories for the "Time Wars" and "Psychodrome" in the works is really exciting, gonna have to find my books and re-read to get re acquainted. And thanks for the reply.
I hope that this comment makes it to you Mr. Hawke (as I see that this post is a few years old). I came across your absolutely amazing Time Wars series as a young man, stumbling across the first two books in a small out-of-the way bookshop while browsing. I subsequently spent most of my early high school years (before the days of abebooks and amazon) fervently tracking down all twelve books in various used book stores across southern Ontario. I was eventually successful, and to this day they are predominantly and proudly displayed in my library. I want to thank you so very much for writing these amazing books! Your fascinating explorations of “what if” scenarios and compelling time travel discussions had a significant influence on my decision to study history at university. Those studies eventually led to me becoming a government archivist, an occupation that I absolutely adore, and so I feel I owe you a debt of gratitude. I am thrilled beyond words that a 13th book may be in the works, and I again offer my most heartfelt thanks for your work.
P.S. I introduced my now wife to your books while we were dating, and she loved them as well. So much so in fact that we named our son after a character in the books!

And I think that "Robert Darkness Neill" has a nice ring to it. Hopefully he becomes a doctor.
My pleasure! And thank you very much for responding – I really appreciate it. While I clearly have a huge soft spot for Time Wars, I am genuinely excited to hear that you are writing again regardless of the project and I look forward to checking out your next book! Thank you again.

It does indeed! However, we named him after a member of the main adjustment team…
Massive kudos Simon for your wonderful “ Time Wars” series. I first started reading them at book warehouse in South Oxfordshire where I worked after I left school. I’ve now re read all on kindle and enjoyed “ The Sumter scenario” and wondering if there is a final book in the process as all your fans would love to know about Moses and Drakov , Andre and Lucas….and if Finn settled down !? My youngest child has started to read and enjoy your books, so many thanks again.

I'm curious to see how it's different, after 20 years of writing experience.
And thanks, for the insights.
