I just finished my edits for Book 2 of TRISTEN and am so excited!!! Now it goes off to my friend, who will make sure all my T's and Q's are crossed.

This time they travel back to the year Lincoln was inaugurated, (I still need spell check for that word! haha. Although, I did learn how to spell assassinate.) and the South (of the US) isn't very happy about it. I get to explore all the different reasons why the South seceded from the Union, especially in Maryland, who was not only right on the border between the North and South but also just a stone throw away from Washington D.C..

This book has been super fun to write because I've gotten to work with the trios relationships. Things are changing because Ailey has a big secret(s) that will influence things in a big way. **spoiler alert if you haven't read the first book** Greg still clings on to Isolda even though she's made it clear that she's not interested, and Mr. Becker is still gone and unavailable to answer all their questions.
