Wow!  So much has happened since my last post.  To begin with, my computer’s motherboard went Tango Uniform and I was working on an older, previously retired laptop my wife was generous enough to find for me.  The laptop couldn’t keep up with the graphics on this blog or Facebook.  Fortunately, I was able to keep up on Facebook on the Ipad/Iphone combo.  Now I have a new laptop and we’re slowly getting back in business.  So, what’s happened?

We sent out a few press releases regarding the 2013 Next Generation Indie Book Awards.  On July 3rd, I received a phone call from Jeff Mullin from the Enid News and Eagle.  I had a nice interview with him and sent him some additional material.  Little did I know but on the 4th of July, he had a nice front page story in the Enid News and we also made the front page on the Vance Airscoop.  Jeff wrote a great article and it was picked up by the Associated Press.  Before we knew it, the story was turning up on all kinds of online news websites all over the country, including the Air Force Times, Army Times, Navy Times, and Marine Corps Times.  Talk about instant coverage!  We couldn’t have been happier!

On July 1st, we found out that SURLY BONDS won it’s second award and we were in the finals for the READER’S FAVORITE Book Awards.  The winners will be determined over the next month so if you haven’t left us a review on that website, give us a shout!  The winners will be announced on September 1st so we’re keeping our fingers crossed.
