Q & A with my hometown paper

The reality of being a self-published author is often that getting into a hometown paper is about as good as it gets. But that's fine with me because it can't get more meaningful than being delivered to the mailboxes of the people in my childhood community. The Plymouth Sun-Sailor was probably my first newspaper, in addition the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

I haven't given up on the distinguished "Strib" yet, but I'm not feeling forlorn anymore about the increasing liklihood that they haven't really noticed me. When I shared my recent interview in the Plymouth Sun-Sailor with my sister in California, she said: "You've made it, sister." I didn't argue. We're Minnesota girls. We know where we are from.

Writer Derek Bartos interviewed me via email--he did a great job with getting me to reflect, and here is the resulting Q&A. Thanks for following me.
