Adrift at Sea

Despite what Sandreen had said about clouds being moochers and only causing trouble, Maude had decided to adopt it anyway. She had made the argument that, what with them being Lost At Sea, they needed a local who knew their way around. Sandreen had given in easily. Truthfully, with the sun so hot and yellow, and the breezes ruffling the tulle of their dresses and hats, she didn’t want to argue. Such a waste. – Emily Kinney, author of The Island of Lote
