I'm feeling quite brave. Those of you out there who are seasoned bloggers, tweeters and Facebook users etc will probably laugh at my ineptitude, but I'm only just beginning to make use of all these wonderful social and marketing networks. I started on Twitter about a week or so ago, and this is my first day in Goodreads.

I see all you experts out there, swimming gracefully in deep water whilst I, on the other hand, am as yet only paddling in the frilly little wavelets at the beach-edge, holding my skirts out of the way of the waves and hoping I don't fall over. But it's warmer than I thought - and I'm quite enjoying myself. I might venture out a bit deeper tomorrow.
