After fighting for 7 whole years dad lost his battle against a malicious brain tumour.
It all started with a game of indoor football. That day changed my dad`s life as he headed the ball and a blood vessel burst. This made my dad pass out a few hours later and he was found by an unknown gentleman.
The bleed on the brain was very quickly rectified, but after a CT scan they noticed that a grade 3 tumour was growing on dad`s frontal lobe. The surgeons operated on him and succeeded in removing the cancer.
On the 9th of June, my father; Kevin Neil Taylor passed away. He did not feel pain and he had a really wonderful and a very fulfilling life. He had so many visitors while he was in the hospice, who love him so much.
Dad would not have seen it as loosing the battle, but winning as be fought it for so long and never let it put him down. We love your sense of humour father
I love you Dad and I will continue to make you proud as I believe you are watching over me. You have been an inspiration and I will be planting a fruit tree in your honour.
Always in my thoughts and in my heart.
Your son
