Tea is for Tuesday

The 1920s was the first era when tanning became fashionable, so after yesterday’s refreshing lounge on the beach, it’s time to show some skin at an afternoon party or a visit to the local tea shop.Summer party illustration


 


Hats with tea dresses tended to be conservative (no wild feathered headbands). This one ought to do.

Strictly speaking, these pumps are a little formal for tea, but they’ve got flowers on them, so I think we can pull it off.
