Magic Happens

From hidden hurts to Hollywood.

As seen in yesterday's front page of The Sunday Mail's U On Sunday, I have sprinkled fairy dust on Hollywood so it seems. Be it true I have not long come home from LA where I met with some of Hollywood's heavyweights, including Oscar winning producer, Ellen Somers, and MTV award winning producer, Mark Morgan. Ellen and Mark are producers from movies such as Twilight and Lord of the Rings. Blessed am I that the potential of a film franchise within my fantasy series has been sighted.
But for myself, it is the story behind the story that speaks my heart and be I hope touches many more.

Young and impressionable, I'd led a destructive path that we are still seeing all too often in popular culture, and although my path has led me to Hollywood, it has most definitely been far from smooth sailing.
Eating disorders, drug addictions, rape; these aspects only being part of my own personal story. But with so many silenced terrors held throughout the years, it would come to pass that I would find the strength to pick myself up and turn my dreams into my god given truth.

Now as an author and single mother of three, I am undeniably blessed in that the stories held within my fantasy pages are capturing hearts on so many levels. Many are speaking out of their own pains, finding inspiration in the story of my own life and that of the people within my books.

I found a healing within my words, but to know that so many others are finding the inspiring stir also, is more than I could ever ask.
So to each of my readers, I thank you. I thank you for having the courage to admit and appeal to those fears. You are strong and beautiful, and no-one, especially our own selves, has the right to make us feel anything but.

And yes, magic does happen. Your every dream can and will be yours, if you believe it is so with every ounce of your being.

My love to all,
Tania Elizabeth xo
